Asset Management division

Asset Management division is the investment management branch which acts as the Investment Manager of Category II Alternative Investment Fund – namely Areion Special Situation Fund (“Fund”) focusing on investing in distressed assets. The Fund currently has two schemes viz. Areion Special Situation Scheme I and Areion Special Situation Scheme II and managed by Areion Assets Management Private Limited. For these purposes, businesses that are experiencing stress or distress or showing a potential for distress are businesses (including any individual business units, affiliates or subsidiaries of conglomerates) that have had missed payments or other defaults on any of their financing agreements or securities or are showing visible signs of deterioration that could lead to potential default within the near future. The Scheme may also provide funding to companies acquiring distress assets.

Transaction Advisory division

Transaction Advisory division is the resolution and recovery sector which was established due to increased emphasis by the Reserve Bank of India on improving asset quality and capital adequacy, which caused a large number of Banks and Institutions to focus on NPA Management. In recent decades, many companies have experienced banking and financial institutional problem requiring a major and expensive overhaul of their financial system. Accordingly, our company focus on solving the problem by either disposing off assets hived off from a financial institutions balance sheet or restructure corporate debt.
The primary services provided by the Company are Debt Restructuring, Distressed Merger & Acquisition, Resolution and Transaction Advisory.

Recovery division

Recovery division assists in the Acquisition and Resolution of Retail Stressed Financial Assets acquired from banks, financial institutions and other Qualified sellers. The Company is presently in the process of empanelling with Banks & NBFCs for recovery assignments in the retail space. It has a focused and specialized approach to resolve and recover Stressed Assets in the retail, SME and MSME sectors. The Company offers an opportunity to Banks/Financial Institutions to recover the best possible value from the Stressed Assets thereby unlocking their Capital.
ACTPL has an ambitious growth plan in the financial services space and endeavours to establish itself as a niche player in the Recovery Management space in the Country. Within a period of three months of the establishment, ACTPL has recovered more than Rs. 5 Crores from 150 loan accounts of one single portfolio assigned to the Company.

Distressed Real Estate division

Distressed Real Estate division is the real estate consulting team having significant expertise to minimize risk and develop practical strategic options regarding resources and assets to fit their organizational strategy whether distressed property is undeveloped land, improved properties, mixed-used developments, and easements. The Company not only advises investor for buying the distressed properties but also helps them to identity the best suitable distressed property, which maybe plant & machinery / movable or immovable property.

The Company covers the full spectrum of real estate valuation services, ranging from evaluating large and diverse portfolios to performing single property analyses as well as the identification and valuation of tangible and intangible real estate related assets. The team at real estate division have experience with various transactions involving purchases and sales, complex leasing, sales and leasebacks, exchanges, options, joint ventures, and partnerships, as well as tenant in common sales, purchases, and exchanges.

NBFC division

NBFC division is a one stop solution for all financial needs through tailor-made products based on specific requirements. Its primary object is to provide efficient Credit Delivery through customized products to various segments like MSMEs, Real Estate and Stressed Viable Business Unit; provide financial support to various entities in distress by funding “One Time Settlement” (OTS) amount; provide interim funding to the companies going through NCLT proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016; Provide funds for acquisition of properties sold under SARFAESI sale and provide other general loans.
The NBFC division assists clients in capital raising and loan syndication. It also provides Financial Advisory Services to its clients engaged in wide range of industries such as Iron and Steel, Hospitality, Textile, Agri Based industries and Real Estate Sectors etc. They also propose to take up assignments related to mergers, acquisitions, amalgamations and restructuring.

Asset Reconstruction Division

The Asset Reconstruction division’s objective is to acquire and resolve stressed assets. It acquires sub-standard / doubtful and loss assets from banks and financial institutions in a structured and systematic manner which includes preliminary review of the distressed asset, due diligence, execution of transaction / legal documents and issue of Security Receipts.  Thereafter, it aims to revive the stressed assets in the best possible manner keeping in mind the interest of all stakeholders and compliance with the extant RBI guidelines, by way of restructuring/ rescheduling  the payment of debts by the borrower, providing additional finance for restructured accounts, settlement of dues payable by the borrower, enforcement of security interest, change in or takeover of management of the business of the borrower, or sale or lease of part or whole of the business of the borrower.
